i want to know which year and model gemini would be good to do this conversion with littlest amount of body cuts i have a vn v6 3.8 ltr engine and the radiator already do i need the vn bell housing??
and does any one have info on how much engineering certificates would cost rufly
if some one could give me a quick check list on all the parts id need to pull this off would be great first time for me so correct me if ive given wrong info =] any help or advice would be greatlyy appreciated cheers

Hi is this going to be a N.S.W registered car , if so you need to talk to the rta (god) cause as far as i know you cannot legally do this mod as the engine is to big eg = 3.8ltr. The power to weight rule applies .

in the workings of GOD (RTA) i beleive i may have found a clause that may allow to have bigger engines in not just gems but any car.
if you can find 3 cars registered in nsw with the same conversion, example a gemini 3.8 v6 with engineers cert you may be able to reg your conversion in NSW.
In saying that why dont we get a log of modified and registered gems over 2.6L in NSW through all the clubs so members can have a better opportunity to modify their gems.

Hi,
I put un JZ in my 180sx.
I want to know if i take a 2jztt auto and i put the manual r154 tranny, if i need to change the engine wiring and the ecu???

ya the ecu has nothin to do with a manual, have you done the swap before? do you know what all youll need to swap the r154 onto the 2j? its easy if you have the parts, but can be kinda spendy just lettin ya know, if you have any questions on it pm me
